The ideologies that birthed these terms have historically been viewed as oppositional but the pious behaviours prescribed by the movements are curiously similar. Although the ideas underlying the motivations and the modes of manifestation associated with the religious steward and the green spiritualist may be different, their objective appears to be the same.
